"Want That Old Thing Back" was a track by The Notorious B.I.G., that appeared on the album ''Greatest Hits'', a compilation album released on March 6, 2007 by Bad Boy Records, three days before the 10th anniversary of his death. The track was one of only two tracks on the compilation that had not been released earlier, the other being "Running Your Mouth". The track was credited to The Notorious B.I.G. featuring Ja Rule and Ralph Tresvant. This is a rendition of the song 'One More Chance' originally by Biggie. ==Matoma and The Notorious B.I.G. version== In 2014–2015, it became a hit again under the amended title "Old Thing Back". This version is a club remix remade by Norwegian DJ Matoma. The new release on Big Beat Records credits "Matoma and The Notorious B.I.G. featuring Ja Rule & Ralph Tresvant". The remix initially became popular in the summer of 2014 when it reached number 1 on a music blog called hypem.com with many record companies expressing interest in Matoma's work after hearing the remix. Ja Rule, who is featured on the original track, also tweeted that he loved the track.〔http://www.dagbladet.no/2014/07/20/kultur/matoma/musikk/artist/tom_strete_lagergren/34427173/〕 The track was officially released in March 2015 charting on VG-lista, the official Norwegian singles chart and Sverigetopplistan, the official Swedish singles chart.
